Get Ready to Watch WRO's Webcast for Co-ops!

A webcast is a video you can watch right from your computer screen. In this webcast you will hear from our panel of experts and learn about Fair Housing laws specifically as they apply to co-ops:

• Federal, NY, and Westchester regulations
• Tips on the co-op admissions interview
• Reasonable modifications and accommodations

Then test your knowledge by taking a quick quiz or play our interactive Co-op Board game. You owe it to yourself and your co-op to know the law so as to avoid costly mistakes and discrimination law suits.

About Webcasts

To watch the WRO Webcast on this CD, you will need a browser that supports frames. You won’t need a connection to the Internet because everything you need is on this CD.  The webcast is best seen using the Internet Explorer browser, version 5 or later. You may also use Netscape version 6x or later if you have the proper plugins (Real Player or Windows Media Player version 7). But, if you would like to download a video player that you can use for our webcast and for other multi-media web presentations, here is how to get one:

For WRO's videos, you will only need the free version of real player or the free windows media player. Downloading either of these will require you to fill out your name and e-mail, and will take a few minutes to download.  The players should install themselves after downloading. Follow all instructions on the download screen. 

After you have installed the player, select WRO WEBCAST and wait a few moments for the multi-media presentation to download.

You can also order this Webcast on a CD. It is free to Westchester County, NY co-op board members who want to learn more about how Fair Housing Laws apply to co-ops. The CD includes all the videos and a slide show to share with your co-op board colleagues.
